In December 2014, Hyundai presented an updated family i30 2015 model year, which includes three- and five-door hatchbacks and wagon. After restyling, both Hatch got further “warmed” version of the Turbo.
The same applied to the strip diffuser, which, like a modified bumper and exhaust pipes – are also the hallmark of Hyundai i30 Turbo. Plus, this car sports a exclusive design 18-inch wheels. Inside, Hyundai i30 Turbo attract attention sports seats with contrasting red accents, a leather steering wheel with red stitching, metal plates on the pedals, and a dashboard.
Specifications. The movement of the vehicle causes a 1.6-liter T-GDI turbo engine with direct injection that develops 186 hp and 265 Nm of torque (available in a range from 1500 to 4500 rev/min). The engine is combined with a pair of uncontested 6-speed manual transmission, providing Hyundai i30 Turbo acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.0 seconds and a top speed of 218 kilometers per hour. For comparison, a more powerful 204-horsepower Kia Ceed GT has a top speed of 230 km/h, and to disperse hundreds spends 7.7 seconds.
Developing and fine-tuning Hyundai i30 Turbo engaged experts of the European Technical Centre in close contact with a probation department of the company at the Nurburgring. Among the technical features of the model, it is important to note migrated suspension and steering and powerful brakes with discs 300 mm in front and 284 – at the rear.
Configuration and price. Production “warmed” hatchback will establish the company in the Czech Republic and the European sales start in 2015. The exact dates of the appearance of cars at dealers and prices for Hyundai i30 Turbo is not yet known.
