Hybrid Lexus GS 450h and GS 300h 2013, prices and equipment

In August, it was officially presented the new Lexus GS 2013, and at the IAA 2011 in Frankfurt debuted a hybrid version of a sedan that gets Index GS 450h. Inside rear-wheel drive vehicle placed hybrid propulsion system consisting of a gasoline engine V6 of 3.5 liters, an electric motor, battery pack and stepless variator E-CVT.

The total output of both engines is 343 hp, which is enough to provide all-wheel drive sedan a top speed of 210 km/h and acceleration from zero to hundred in 5.6 seconds (0.7 sec. Faster version of the GS 350).
Particular attention is paid efficiency of the power plant: eventually achieved reduction of fuel consumption, as compared to its predecessor, 30%. So now the new Lexus GS 450h corresponds to the American standard Super-Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle II (car with a super-ultra-low-flow). To distinguish it from the GS hybrid petrol version can be to change the optics head, 17-inch wheels with a different pattern, as well as illuminated blue logo on the radiator grille. In addition, from now on for new items F Sport package is available with a more aggressive body kit and adaptive chassis.

Lexus GS 300h.

In December 2013th the Japanese manufacturer introduced another version of the GS sedan hybrid with a label 300h, which took place on the step below the more powerful modification 450h. European sales of new items will start before the end of the year. It includes a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine that runs on the Atkinson cycle, a pair of electric motors, battery pack and stepless variator transmitting traction on the rear axle. The total output is 220 hp installation, and the average consumption in the combined cycle is claimed at 4.7 liters per hundred kilometers. The dynamic characteristics of the Lexus GS 300h is not specified, nor is there data on the cost model.
