Hamann prepared Hawk Roadster on the basis of an open SLS AMG

At last year’s Geneva Motor Show in 2011 the company introduced Hamann tuning supercar HAWK GT Coupe based on the Mercedes-benz SLS AMG(Mercedes-AMG GT), and now, one year later, any present us auto tuners have prepared an open version, named Hamann Hawk Roadster. Despite the absence of a rigid roof and windows in the style of “gull wing”, finalized in studio Hamann SLS AMG roadster (Mercedes-AMG GT Roadster) was the same as the coupe, aerodynamic body kit, which had previously been thoroughly purged in the wind tunnel to make it most effective. The standard 6.3-liter V8 has got a high-performance stainless steel in the production and sport air filter inlet. All this, combined with reprogramming the control unit, which increased to 571 out of the engine to 636 hp Maximum speed Hamann Hawk Roadster reaches 320 km/h and sprints from zero to hundreds of supercar overcomes in 3.6 seconds. In addition, the tuners equipped SLS AMG Roadster with new dampers and shorter springs, which led to a decrease in clearance of 30 mm, and the complete picture forged 21-inch wheels, “shod” in the sports tire dimensions 245/30ZR21 front and 345/25ZR21 – rear .
