The model range of premium brand Wey, owned by the Chinese company Great Wall Motors, has been replenished with a new model – a plug-in hybrid cross-over P8. The premiere of the novelty was held at the motor show in Guangzhou 2017.
Based on the flagship model VV7 , the Wey P8 all-terrain vehicle received an increased grille, and on the left wing it has a port for recharging the batteries.
In motion, the Wey P8 2018 is powered by a hybrid power unit consisting of a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine and two electric motors located on the front and rear axles. The total installation is 340 hp. and 520 Nm. This filling allows the all-wheel drive crossover to accelerate from zero to hundreds in 6.5 seconds.
According to the passport, the fuel consumption of the all-road car is only 2.3 liters per 100 kilometers, while at the same electric one wey P8 is able to drive up to 50 kilometers. Data on the capacity of the batteries and the time of their recharging the manufacturer did not disclose.
In the list of equipment of the Chinese hybrid crossover, adaptive cruise control, a round-robin camera, monitoring of blind areas, a system for holding the car in the lane and assistance in rebuilding, as well as an autonomous emergency braking function and a digital rear-view mirror appear.
