In Germany, the car with autopilot will be equipped black boxes

The German authorities may adopt a law that would force automakers to equip vehicles with autonomous control functions of the so-called “black boxes”. According to foreign media, the author of this bill is the Minister of Transport of Germany, Alexander Dobrindt. Designed project they will soon be sent for consideration to other departments. It is expected that the law could be approved before the end of summer of 2016. “Black boxes” will be used to record all the information while driving. In particular, these records will be available when the driver drove the car yourself, but when it did autopilot. In addition, the Germans plan to prohibit the driver leaves the driver’s seat after the autopilot. Such a measure would allow motorists time to intervene in the management in the event of a potentially dangerous situation.
