German studio GeigerCars presented its own version of the “charged” pickup Ford F-150 Raptor, which received a more powerful engine and a special decor. Outside, the “German” version of the American model can be distinguished by the presence of glossy black inserts in a circle, while the body of the car itself is painted in a special color with the original graphics Ford catalog In the cargo compartment of the pickup a protective arc appeared, and the compartment itself received a cover. Plus, the tuners upgraded the Raptor’s suspension, increasing its ground clearance by 101 mm, and the wheels were fitted with new 22-inch wheels with off-road tires. In motion, the all-wheel drive Ford F-150 Raptor from GeigerCars brings the modified 3.5-liter V6 engine of the EcoBoost family of the second generation. If the source engine produces 456 hp. and 692 Nm, then its modified variant develops 519 “mares” and 731 Nm of torque. He works in conjunction with a ten-speed automatic. To improve the performance of the engine, GeigerCars specialists reprogrammed its electronic control unit, and also installed a cold inlet set and a more efficient intercooler. Dynamic characteristics of the modification are not disclosed, but the fuel consumption for driving in a mixed mode is known – 13.1 liters per 100 km of run. Among other technical features of the pickup, it is worth noting the spacers for widening the track and the front differential Torsen.
