Ford introduced the forerunner of a new generation of the Edge

At the Los Angeles Auto Show in 2013 presented the Ford Edge Concept, which gives a clear idea of how it will look like a Edge crossover 2 generation production version of which is expected to appear in the next couple of years.
Externally, the car kept the silhouette of the current Ford Edge, which is produced in the United States since 2006, and in 2011, he experienced a planned restyling. This concept sports a brand new hexagonal grille and full LED illumination engineering.
So far no reports about the technical stuffing of the prototype, but it is known for a number of interesting electronic assistants, one of which is a function of a fully autonomous parking where a car can find their own space in the parking lot and take it, and the driver in this case may be outside the passenger compartment.
In addition, Ford Edge Concept is equipped with adaptive cruise control, tracking systems for the “blind” zones and Rows movement, as well as multimedia kit with MyFord Touch 10-inch touch screen.
Future Ford Edge 2 will be the second, after the compact EcoSport crossover, a global model of the manufacturer.
