At the auto show in Detroit 2012, the premiere of the North American sedan Ford Fusion 2 generation (not to be confused with the European hatchback with the same name), the design of which is in the style of the concept Ford Evos, first shown at the motor show in Frankfurt last year. A key design element of novelty is the hexagonal radiator grille and narrow head optics. Thus, when looking at the new Fusion in the top front perspective it seems that we face a real Aston Martin.
New Ford Fusion 2013 model year debut in three versions: petrol, as well as two hybrid: Hybrid and Energi. The latter, as is known, is characterized by having the possibility of charging from the network. The petrol version of the sedan is offered with three powertrains – the base is a 170-horsepower four-cylinder engine capacity of 2.5 liters, working together exclusively with a six-speed automatic transmission.

An interim version of the presented 1.6-liter turbocharged engine EcoBoost, an outstanding 179 hp, while the top-end 2.0-liter version develops 237 hp in return All versions are front-wheel, but the version with an engine capacity of 2.0 liters can have all-wheel drive. Ford Fusion Hybrid modification in 2014 are on board the installation capacity of 185 hp, which combines a 2.0-liter gasoline engine that runs on the Atkinson cycle, and an electric motor. Sales of new products launched in the United States in the fall of 2012. In the European market the sedan is sold as the Ford Mondeo 5 generation, but price data to the model yet.
