The new Ford Focus will be the 4th generation in 2018

In 2018 we expect to see the new Ford Focus 4 generations. As before, the car will be available in five-door hatchback body styles, sedan and station wagon, the latter being able to get more and all-terrain version.
Compared to the predecessor, the Ford Focus 2018-2019 in the new body will be somewhat larger – all this should have a positive impact on the increase of space in the cabin and luggage compartment volume.
Judging by the first spy photos of the new Ford Focus in April 2018, the hatchback will be deprived of the side windows in the rear rack, which will expand the doorway and consequently facilitate the entry/exit for passengers. Also, the company is actively working on improving the sound insulation of the new model.
It is expected that the car will form the basis of a modernized chassis Global C by the third generation of the car, with the manufacturer promises to keep gambling manageability while adding driving comfort.
As for the powertrain lineup for the 2018 Ford Focus, it will mostly borrowed from its predecessor. We are talking about gasoline turbo EcoBoost family of a working volume of 1.0 and 1.5 liters, and diesel TDCi 1.5 and 2.0 liters. There are also hybrid and fully electric version.
Recall that the third Focus made its debut in 2010, and four years later he experienced a slight restyling. The model was successfully sold to Europe and the United States. But the years take their toll – the demand gradually decreases, so that Focus IV in the company have high expectations.
