At the Frankfurt Motor Show, 2017 will be the world premiere of the new Ferrari Portofino, which replaced the California T model. The roadster’s online presentation took place on August 23, and the car received its name in honor of the Italian resort. Externally, the new Ferrari Portofino 2018 generally resembles its predecessor, although the exterior design here is completely different. Supercar retained the long hood with the cab pulled back, the air intakes in the hood and on the side wings, the muscular rear arches characteristic for the brand models of lighting equipment and the folding rigid roof of Webasto. In general, the appearance of the Portofino exterior traces elements from older models GTC4Lusso and 812 Superfast, and the interior of the roadster has received more evolutionary changes. The front panel has retained the architecture common to California, left on the ground round nozzles of the ventilation system, a similar steering wheel and the organization of the controls of the center console. Revisions have undergone the instrument panel, as well as a multimedia system, which has now received a modern 10.2-inch display. Plus on the lid of the glove box in the Ferrari Portofino appeared LCD screen for the front passenger, and already in the base, there are sports seats with electro-adjustments in 18 directions. The company notes that with the lowered roof in the Ferrari Portofino saloon it was 30% quieter than in the predecessor, and due to other backs of the front seats, it was possible to find a little extra space for the second-row lap because the car has a 2 + 2 landing formula.
