Fernando Alonso won the Grand Prix of Germany 2012

In contrast to yesterday’s rain qualification race the Grand Prix of Germany 2012 took place in good weather on a completely dry track. And the winner was the third time this season, started from pole position, Fernando Alonso. With its victory, Fernando even more strengthened leadership in the standings as his nearest rival Mark Webber, though, and kept the second place, but in Germany only earned three points for eighth place. But for second place unfolded the real fight. The first half of the race Sebastian Vettel held his position, but after the second pit stop, Jenson Button came forward. The Englishman put pressure Alonso in the lead, but in the end he became the target of attacks by Seb. Slightly more active podotstal Vettel on the last lap and a half laps to finish the race still managed to get ahead of Button, regaining the second position. Here are just overtaking Red Bull German appeared all four wheels outside the track, so this episode will still be investigated by the stewards. With the start of the tenth place to fourth during the race Kimi Raikkonen broke, and the fifth and sixth places were taken by pilots of the team Sauber – Kamui Kobayashi and Sergio Perez, respectively. Chance had to finish fifth and Michael Schumacher, but the seven-time world champion has become one of the few pilots of the leading group who decided to hold the third pit stop. Alas, this is not srabtalo and recoup the finish line Michael did not succeed. We rounded out the top ten Nico, fell back to ninth at the start of the fifth, but finished tenth Nico Rosberg – in front of a distant burst through the twenty-first place. The next race will take place just a week – this is the Hungarian Grand Prix, and then followed by a long summer break until September.
