Diesel version of hatchback Porsche Panamera

Porsche has officially introduced a diesel version of the hatchback Porsche Panamera, to get to the title prefix Diesel. Himself powerplant – it is familiar 3.0-liter V6, borrowed from the diesel version of the SUV Cayenne. Thus, the 80-liter tank Porsche Panamera Diesel will be sufficient to cover a distance of 1200 kilometers without refueling. No problems with dynamics: from zero to hundreds of diesel Panamera accelerates in 6.8 seconds and a top speed of 241 km/h. Sales of new products launched in August of 2011 at a price of 80,183 euros in Germany. Price Porsche Panamera Diesel amounts to $94,000.

At the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2013 the premiere of the updated version of the hatchback Porsche Panamera Diesel in 2014, got a new power plant, which while maintaining the same working volume of 3.0 liters was the 50 horsepower more powerful. From the former was only engine cylinder block, while the crankshaft, pistons and a water-cooled turbocharger completely new. The boost pressure is now three bars against the previous 2.5 – all this has increased the returns from 250 to 300 hp, and peak torque up to 650 Nm (100). Now diesel Panamera 2014 model year, accelerating from zero to a hundred in 6.0 seconds flat (0.8 sec. Faster) and a top speed increased to 259 km/h. In addition to new products, engineers have increased the rigidity of the front and rear anti-roll bars and made shorter than the first four gears eight-speed machine. Standard equipment included a model control system thrust vector PTV Plus with electronically regulated rear cross-axle lock. Sales of new items will start in January 2014 at the price from 85,300 euros in Germany.
