In Detroit, presented the SUV KIA Telluride Concept

The KIA company brought to Detroit a large SUV concept Telluride, received brutal angular design, not very typical of current models of the South Korean automaker.
Koreans say that looks KIA Telluride Concept was developed by employees of California design studio. According to them, the SUV is intended to demonstrate to the public the direction that will develop the style of future vehicles of the brand.

The basis of the KIA Telluride Concept laid down on 302 mm elongated chassis from crossover Sorento 3 (overall length of the prototype is 5001 mm, width – 2029, height – 1 800), and set in motion four-wheel drive coupe hybrid propulsion system results in a total power of 400 hp . It includes a 3.5-liter V6, electric motor and battery pack.
Plans to launch the model in the series does not go, but in the long run such a car could be replaced in the lineup outdated SUV Mohave, which is available from 2008.
