In Detroit, MINI will present the concept Paceman

MINI The company is constantly looking for new niches to expand its model range. Last year, the company demonstrated the concept of an open-top Roadster earlier in the network slipped information about Mini that can compete with the smart, and now, on the eve of the Detroit Auto Show in 2011, there was an information model Paceman.
As you can see, the concept MINI Paceman, in fact, is a two-door version of the crossover Countryman with a different front end design and cool strewn roof. Among such a car is positioned as a youth and modern cars for those who want to stand out from the crowd.
Paceman put on 19-inch alloy wheels, and a four-seater cabin – leather upholstery seats, new door panels and the central dashboard as a rail.
Under the hood MINI Paceman is a 1.6-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine with 211 hp with a maximum torque of 260 Nm and equipped with all-wheel drive. The company does not rule out the possibility that the positive reaction from potential buyers, the concept could go into series.
