At the Detroit Motor Show in 2014 the Japanese automaker introduced a conceptual coupe Toyota FT-1 (the name stands for Toyota Future 1), which was designed in the California studio Calty.

Interior concept Toyota FT-1 is made in a minimalist style, and quite futuristic. Ruleove wheel with flattened rim and carbon inserts evokes associations with the controls of a Formula 1 car and the main indicators of the instrument are displayed on the projection screen.
