De Tomaso presented in Geneva 2011 concept Deauville

Revived Italian car company De Tomaso presented in Geneva concept car Deauville, which was previously presented as SLC. Deauville name has appeared in the company’s history, under it in the seventies of the last century produced a large sedan. As for the latest De Tomaso Deauville, his body is fusion and crossover sport. However, unlike many of the concepts shown at Geneva, this car looks almost serial now. The company says that they are ready to organize production of new items at the end of this year and bring the annual production volume of up to 3 000 units. For a new Deauville prepared two engines: a 300-strong turbodiesel V6 of 2.8 liters and 550-strong “eight”. As we reported earlier, as the company plans to De Tomaso to launch two more models: a sedan and a sports coupe. However, this plan does not seem to come true, since the autumn of 2014 the company ATS (Autos Turismo e Sport) decided not to buy the brand De Tomaso, and now the release of new models for the Italian brand of speech does not go.
