The newly formed sub-brand Cupra, owned by Seat, prepared its first model for the Geneva Motor Show 2018 – its own version of the Seat Ateca crossover. The car is built on the same platform as the usual version of the SUV. In front, the all-terrain vehicle acquired a large air intake, a pair of double-barrels of the exhaust system appeared on the stern, and 19-inch wheels glittered on the wheels. In the motion, the new Cupra Ateca (characteristics) leads the 2.0-liter TSI engine, boosted to 300 hp. This unit operates in conjunction with a seven-step robot DSG and 4Drive 4Drive. Such “stuffing” provides dispersal from a place to a hundred in 5.4 seconds, while the maximum speed can reach 245 km/h. Among other technical features of the car is worth mentioning the presence of adaptive shock absorbers and six modes of control electronics, when switching which changes the engine, steering and chassis settings. The most extreme preset was called “Cupra”. The list of equipment includes a camera of a circular view and a keyless access system, while the Performance package is offered as an option for the crossover. The latter includes leather seats, carbon fiber interior trim and Brembo brakes. Later it will be possible to order sports seats-buckets.
