General Motors Concern announced that at the Geneva Motor Show 2011 will be held the official debut of the new Chevrolet Cruze in hatchback, whose prototype was first shown at the Paris Motor Show last autumn. Externally, the serial car will be almost exactly the prototype, except for the head of optics and LED lights in the front bumper. The company also reported that the hatchback has been designed specifically for the European market, where cars with this type of body is traditionally in high demand. Chevrolet Cruze hatchback will receive enhanced powertrain line, which is located on top of a 2.0-liter diesel engine producing 163 hp working together with a 6-speed manual. Also, new items will be available for petrol engines of 1.6 liters (113 hp) and 1.8 liter (141 hp). For more information and prices will be announced later. Sales of the new Chevrolet Cruze hatchback will start in Europe this summer, and to the market will get a car until the end of 2011.
