The “charged” sedan BMW M3 F80 received the most powerful and light version with the CS index in the title, which will be released in a limited edition of 1,200 copies. Outside, this four-door can be distinguished by the presence of a carbon body kit. The latter includes a front splitter, a new hood, as well as a rear diffuser and a spoiler on the trunk lid. Plus, the sedan got a roof made of carbon fiber. All this made it possible to alleviate the weight of the car to 1,585 kg (-50). On the wheels of the new BMW M3 CS, the Bavarians installed lighter 19- and 20-inch forged wheels at the front and rear, respectively. They are shod Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 dimension 265/35 in front and 285/30 behind. The interior of the CS-version is finished with leather and Alcantara black and silvery colors, while the name of the special version flaunts on the front panel and overlays on the rapids. Plus already in the base the salon is equipped with the multimedia Professional, as well as premium surround sound system Harman & Kardon. The BMW M3 CS 2018 is equipped with a standard 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine with two turbines, but here its output is brought to 460 hp. and 600 Nm, which is 29 forces and 50 Nm of torque more than the standard “m”. The forced engine works exclusively in conjunction with a seven-band robot with two clutches. Acceleration from zero to one hundred for the new BMW M3 CS takes 3.9 seconds (-0.1 versus the Competition Package version), and due to the availability of the M Driver’s package, the maximum speed is limited by electronics at 280 km/h (+ 30). Among other features of the modification is worth noting the improved adaptive suspension with retuned springs, shock absorbers and stabilizers of lateral stability. It was borrowed from the version of the M3 Competition Package. Also in the list of equipment here are the active M-differential and sports exhaust system. For a surcharge, carbon-ceramic brakes can be ordered. Receiving orders for the BMW M3 CS will open in January 2018, and mass production is scheduled for March of the same year. The cost of the most extreme “em-three” has not yet been disclosed, but it is known that such a car will not be sold.
