On Sunday, the Bugatti company unveiled a new version of its supercar, called the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport 16.4. The car is lighter, stronger and faster than normal Veyron, its engine produces 1200 horsepower and maximum torque of 1500 Nm. Such returns engineers were able to achieve due to the installation of enlarged turbine and intercooler, as well as an upgraded exhaust system. On Sunday, on a test oval, owned by the Volkswagen concern, attended by representatives of Guinness World Records, as well as experts of the German Technical Inspection (TUV), which recorded a new speed record for production cars – 431 km/h. This result was the average of two attempts. When traveling in the same direction track Bugatti Veyron 16.4 SuperSport has a top speed 427 km/h, while in reverse – is 434 km/h. However, cars that will go into the hands of the owners, the maximum speed will be limited at around 415 km/h in order to avoid possible destruction of tires. World premiere supercar Bugatti Veyron Super Sport was held in August at the event Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California. In total the company plans to build only thirty copies of modification SuperSport, at $1.8 million each.
