Bavarians presented off-road car BMW X7 iPerformance Concept

At the Frankfurt Motor Show, 2017 will be a presentation of the BMW X7 iPerformance Concept, which is a harbinger of the serial X-7. The model is a full-size crossover with huge nostrils of the original radiator grille and massive vertical sections of air intakes in the front bumper.
On the front fenders of the BMW X7 iPerformance Concept, there are stylish vent holes, while on the left wing the Bavarians have placed a port for charging electric batteries. The prototype received laser optics, a glass panoramic roof, a rear vented bumper and thin strips of lanterns. The wheels are adorned with massive 23-inch alloy wheels.
The conceptual all-terrain vehicle can boast of a luxurious six-seater saloon (on the second and third rows there are two separate seats, each of them has a lot of adjustments). Leather armchairs received a two-color design, while in the interior decoration there are inserts made of wood and bright accents.
The salon of the prototype is equipped with the latest technology. To the services of the driver and passengers a digital instrument panel, a modern entertainment complex iDrive and a multifunctional steering wheel, executed in a futuristic style.
In terms of its dimensions, the concept was close to the Range Rover Vogue – the length of the prototype is 5 020 mm, the wheelbase is 3 100, the width is 2 020, the height is 1 800. Thus, the distance between the axes here is 30 mm larger than on the long-base “Seven”, with which the all-terrain vehicle divides the modular platform CLAR.
Specific data on the technical filling of the BMW X7 Concept yet. It is expected that the motion of the all-terrain vehicle leads a hybrid installation, similar to the one used on the 740Le iPerformance sedan. It consists of a 2.0-liter “turbo-quater” for 258 hp, 113-horsepower electric motor and a set of lithium-ion batteries of increased capacity, providing a run on electric traction up to 100 kilometers.
The company notes that the line of powertrains of the serial X7 will be represented by at least three different engines, among which will be a 3.0-liter “turbo-chaser” with a power of 335 hp and a 4.4-liter V8 twin-turbo at 445 forces. Ready to produce an SUV promise to bring to market in the second half of 2018.
