Honda brought a compact electric hatchback Urban EV Concept to the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2017. The exterior design of the model is made in a retro style, with the front of the car receiving LED lights and a display instead of the grille, which displays information about the charge of batteries or messages intended for other road users. The conceptual hatchback turned out to be almost 100 mm shorter than the Honda Jazz/Fit model of the new generation and received massive “suicidal” doors. Salon prototype is designed for four people. Front and back here are set up sofas, upholstered in light gray cloth, while the front panel and some other elements of the interior are decorated with stylish inserts of wood. Honda Urban EV Concept is equipped with an unusual steering wheel, and on the front panel flaunts a large panoramic screen of the information system. As for the technical stuffing of the electric car, the information about it is still kept secret. It is curious that the manufacturer intends to bring the prototype Urban to mass production. It is expected that the product model will undergo a number of changes and will appear on the European market as early as 2019.
