The basic version of Audi R8 II get the motor from the Panamera

The publication Autocar reports that the basic version of the Audi R8 II supercar will receive a 2.9-liter V6 engine, which is equipped only with a new Panamera. In the Porsche Panamera 2 engine is paired with an eight-robot PDK, giving out 440 hp and 550 Nm, but how many will develop a unit on the R8 – is still unknown. Recall that now the engine is less powerful version of the supercar produces 540 “horses”. Audi plans to use the motor of the Panamera and on some other models. So, the new engine will have “charged” the RS4 and RS5 new generation, as well as RS-version of Q5 crossover second generation. The degree of motor forcing these models will vary.
