Supercar Audi R8 2 generation, which premiered at the Geneva Motor Show in 2015, got an all-electric version with the prefix e-tron in the title. This was also the car of the former generation, but then was released only ten test specimens. Outside electric Audi R8 e-tron is different from the standard version of a grille, air intake in the presence of the boot lid, bumpers and re-registration of the ducts in them that got two horizontal bars and a small rear spoiler and, of course, unique wheels, developed specifically for this model.

The movement of the Audi R8 e-tron (2016-2017) is located by two electric motors on the rear axle, the power of each of which is equal to 231 hp and 460 Nm. Thus, the total output of 462 hp installation and 920 Nm of torque, allowing Audi R8 e-tron acceleration from zero to hundred in 3.9 seconds. Maximum speed is electronically limited to 210 or 250 km/h, depending on the mode. The total stock of the progress claimed by the manufacturer at 450 kilometers, and full recharging the battery should take only two hours. The company is not going to mass-produce the new Audi R8 e-tron, which will be collected only on paid pre-orders, price information is not reported.
