As part of the auto show in Los Angeles 2017 premiere of the American hypercar Aria FXE, which is designed to impose competition on the famous European models. Monocoque and most of the body panels of the novelty are made of carbon. Plus in the design of the car a lot of 3D elements made of titanium.
Interestingly, the Aria FXE market will be offered in two versions at once. The first (basic) version is simply called FE, and the 6.2-liter V8 drives it. The car manufacturer does not yet disclose the technical characteristics of this modification, but it is known that it will be rear-wheel drive.
The Aria FXE variant received a hybrid power unit consisting of a 720-strong “eight” and a pair of electric motors that develop 540 “horses.” The total output of the units reaches 1,150 forces, while the electric motors draw energy for their work from a set of lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of 10 kWh.
As for the gearbox, Aria specialists plan to equip the hypercar with a seven- or eight-band automatic with two clutches (the final decision has not yet been made). During the presentation of the model, the automaker said that to accelerate from one place to a hundred versions of the FXE requires only 2.7 seconds, and the maximum speed can reach 338 km/h.
Hyperkara Aria FE and FXE will be released in a small series, with a total circulation of 400 copies. For the coupe will be requested a minimum of 1 million dollars, and the delivery of the first machines to customers will begin in late 2019.
