The AC Schnitzer company built 570-hp BMW M235i

Tuning AC Schnitzer studio will bring to the Geneva Motor Show in 2016 tuned version of the BMW M235i, dubbed ACL2 Concept.
Recall that the standard coupe is equipped with a 3.0-liter “six” power of 326 hp, but under the hood is the concept of 431-horsepower engine of similar volume, borrowed from the M3 and M4 models. Works such engine mated to a six-speed mechanics.
The replacement of the engine engineers from Aachen were not limited. They modified the engine, increasing its return to 570 hp Thus, the power ACL2 Concept was on the 200 “horses” more than the new 370-strong the BMW M2 Coupe.
New from AC Schnitzer weighs 1448 kg, which is 122 kg less than the M2 and 142 kg lighter BMW M4 Coupe. It turns out that for every 2.54 kg accounted for one horsepower, and thus this indicator exceeds the concept of the German company supercars such as the Ferrari 458 Italia and Porsche 911 GT3 RS.

Experts of AC Schnitzer studio modified the chassis concept coupe, using some of the decisions from the M4, as well as established firms Clubsport suspension and carbon-ceramic brake discs.
In addition, the concept of ACL2 received an aerodynamic body kit, which includes flared wheel arches, increased the width of the car to 140 mm, rear wing, diffuser from carbon fiber vented hood, side mirrors and sporty design of the front spoiler. Complement the design of 20-inch forged wheels, “shod” in the Michelin PSS tire dimensions 285/25ZR20.
German tuners abandoned and replaced the rear seats in the front two-tone sport “buckets” of carbon. In addition, the cabin BMW ACL2 Concept installed a new steering wheel, aluminum pedals and other gear handle.
AC Schnitzer has no plans to sell a version of the M235i, but the tuner does not rule out that some of the solutions used in the prior art, will be applied in other projects of the company in the future.
