In the British tuning studio, Mountune finalized the “charged” hatchback Ford Focus RS, increasing the performance of its engine.
The tuned package of modifications, called the M400, provides for the flashing of the electronic engine control unit, the installation of a more efficient intercooler, and the replacement of the intake and exhaust systems.
As a result, the output of the 2.3-liter turbocharged engine Ford Focus RS will increase to 400 hp. (+ 50), and the torque – up to 564 Nm (+ 124).
The dynamic characteristics of the 400-hp hatchback are not disclosed, however, it is expected that the modification will be faster than the stock model, which exchanges the first hundred for 4.7 seconds, developing a speed of up to 260 km/h. On the M400 sports package in Mountune set a price tag of 2,912 pounds (about 3,200 euros).
