From 2019, all Ferrari models will be hybrid

The publication Autocar has learned that during a conference call with investors, the head of the group Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) Sergio Marchionne said the increase in output supercar Ferrari brand. If now the Italian company produces about 8,000 cars a year, by 2025 this figure will increase to 10 thousand cars.

Note that, by the laws in force, the annual volume of car production to 10 000 units allows automakers not to bring their models to the stringent requirements of the level of C02 emissions and economy. This means that the Italians will have to do rework their supercars.

It is expected that all new Ferrari model, production of which will start from 2019, will have hybrid technology. Marchionne said that the combination of a traditional internal combustion engine with electrical components, not only will improve the fuel efficiency of cars, but and improve their dynamic characteristics.
